Nick Smith Haring Dogs Pastel Collection

Special Lottery Release

We have the utmost pleasure in presenting the Haring Dog Pastel Collection.
Nick Smith's unique and supremely popular adaptation of Keith Haring's iconic 'Barking Dog' motif has a new chapter with the adoption of an updated, softer, guise through the release of this new four piece collection.

Presented across four never before seen colourways, each signed and numbered dog matches the same size as all of Smith's previously released Haring Dog variations; providing either a new opportunity to own one of these images if you missed out previously or perhaps a chance to pair them up with one of the previous colourways.

The proofs for these pastel coloured variations dates back to the original design and concept meetings we had with Smith when we originally released the red, blue and gold versions in 2019. Whilst discussed and viewed digitally, the physical proofs were never actually seen or even believed to have been made as samples, until our most recent visit to Smith's studio where we saw them by chance as part of a selection of past material when viewing new work. They had simply been forgotten.

As soon as we saw them, we all unanimously agreed that the time now felt right to make them a reality and release them. Everything was re-tweaked, new proofs were ordered, checked over and refined and the result is the four colours presented here: 'Blancmange', 'Peppermint', 'Custard' & 'Parma Violet'.
